Pre-EG Statement
With 24 hours to go before the EGM, the 5 Committee members that have chosen to respond to the allegations made about rule breaches and committee processes have still not had disclosure of what these alleged rule breaches might be. We are aware of concerns reagrling the handing of an investigation into Ardingly but we still remain unaware of what the specific allegations are. In the absence of any detailed information about what may be disussed at the EGM other than Ardingly, we sent the e-mail detailed below to the 4 members that put their names to the EGM submission.

After a very challenging few years I think it is safe to say flyball is definitley back! What a great 10 days of flyball at 3 Counties and Driffield showgrounds we have just had. Thanks to everyone who supported our 2 flagship events this year, the Indoor and Outdoor Championships, the attendance far exceeded our expectations and is a positive reflection of the healthy state of BFA flyball right now.

Rushing headlong into the main events at 3 Counties and Driffield showground over the next couple of weeks makes me wonder where the rest of the summer went! It's been really pleasing to see how much has been achieved by dogs and human members over the past few months. Together, we have successfully transitioned to the new wider jumps without any drama and we have a uniquely BFA ulna device with measurers trained and clubs able to purchase their own practice ones.

The summer flyball season is now well under way and it's been great to see so many handlers and dogs back out in the lanes. 1 June has now passed and some significant changes to our sport have now come into effect; changes that may well affect team line ups and seed times, which is why we have changed the AGM and rule change dates this year.
