Manchester & Cheshire Dogs Homes Tragedy

Postby SMC » 12 Sep 2014, 01:53

Those of you on Facebook will no doubt have already heard about the tragedy that has befallen the Manchester & Cheshire Dogs Homes... 43 innocent lives taken to Rainbow Bridge without a loving owner there to comfort the dogs' final passing..... in an arson attack by a 14-year-old boy! And another 150 distressed dogs requiring temporary foster homes!!!

As usual OUR Flyball community has already rallied to help, by giving donations to the charity via Just Giving!

One of our community (Garry Minnikin - Rotherham Flyball Teams) however, has pledged to raise £10,000.00 to help this charity... with the aid of the BFA community, via his Just Giving page:

https://www.justgiving.com/Flyball-folks/

Please can you use the above link to visit his page and give whatever you can to help these dogs!

Please ensure you leave your e-mail address (or FULL NAME) when you donate VIA THE ABOVE LINK and I will enter you in my prize draw to win a portrait for your dog as a THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND DONATION!! (there is no upper or lower limit on your donation).... ALL proceeds will be treated equally!!

Thank you in anticipation of your donation to Garry's Just Giving Page and for your kind support for these poor dogs!!

They are badly in need of food and blankets/beds.
Drop off for these are Christ Church, on Water Street, just off Rochdale Road, M95 XXD

I've had several bags of food delivered to this address. Another drop off place is the RSPCA shop, Wilberham Road, Chorlton, Manchester.
