Membership Renewal - Online Payments

Message to the current membership of the British Flyball Association.

It is with regret that the BFA Committee have to announce delay in the launch of the Online Renewal Facility.

Despite work to provide this from December 1st onwards unavoidable delays have been encountered in acquiring the Merchant Bank facility required to support the delivery of the secure payment gateway.

Please accept our apology for this delay.

Given your membership renewal may be delayed due to our inability to provide this facility, the Committee have decided that payment of a (£2.50) lapsed membership fee will not now be applied to memberships renewed after January 1st and before January 31st 2013.

Membership renewals will be considered lapsed after February 1st 2013 and will incur an additional fee of £2.50 as well as the appropriate annual renewal fee.

Members are reminded of the BFA Rule 5.17 (n) which requires all persons entering the ring of a BFA Sanctioned Competition to be members of the association. Rule 5.2 (e) requires all handlers to be current BFA members and all dogs competing to be registered with the BFA.

With this in mind any members who are entered for racing during January are encouraged to renew their membership and register any new dogs using the paper renewal form issued in the Flyball Record or available to download from the BFA site.

A further announcement will be made in the Committee Announcement Section of the BFA forum and on the BFA Official Announcement FaceBook Page when the Secure Online Renewal facility has been launched.
